Today's postcard shows a view from the air of Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, England. The postmark on the card has the date of 28 March 1966. Wallsend is at the end of Hadrian's Roman Wall - thus it's name. In Ronan times it was known as Segedunum.
Wallsend is about three or four miles from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in north-east England,
