A 1960s postcard showing Bamburgh Village and Castle, Tyne and Wear (though was Northumberland back then), England. The postcard says:
"This pleasant old-fashioned village is a source of pride for all Northumbrians. In the churchyard is a monument to Grace Darling who, on a stormy night in 1838, rowed out to rescue the survivors of a wrecked ship,"
