Postcard For Co-operative Women's Guild Centenary 1883-1983
A postcard to commemorate the centenary of the Co-operative Women's Guild: 1883 to 1983. The reverse of the postcard states:
"The Guild campaigned over the years on particular issues including better pay for women, promoting female membership of trade unions, women in public speaking, maternity benefits and child welfare.
In the 1920s it was encouraging more women to stand for parliament and above all in the inter war years it was an ardent promoter of peace disarmament with their white poppies for Rememberance Day."
