Trafalgar Square And St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, London England Postcard
It's unusual to see a postcard of Trafalgar Square, London without it showing Nelson's Column. This photo features the church of St Martin In The Fields instead.
St Martin-in-the-Fields is at the north-east corner of Trafalgar Square and is dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours. There has been a church here since the medieval period, though the present building - constructed to a Neoclassical design by James Gibbs - is dated 1722–1724.
